Different materials need different care. Here’s how we approach house washing.
01Your siding sets the method.
Vinyl, painted surfaces, and other exterior materials need assessment before cleaning. Let us know about loose siding, failing paint, open gaps, or recent repairs. We discuss the method and preparation with you first. A house wash is not paint restoration or a repair for water intrusion.
02Planning to paint?
Tell us if another contractor is waiting to paint the home. The coating manufacturer and painter should determine drying and preparation requirements. We can discuss cleaning as part of that schedule without promising that washing alone completes every prep step.
Is this different from pressure washing?+
Yes. We choose a gentler approach for siding rather than use the pressure suited to a concrete driveway.
Do you clean vinyl siding?+
Yes. Share photos and any known damage so the cleaning method can be assessed.
Can it remove oxidation?+
Oxidation differs from dirt or algae. It may remain or require separate treatment, depending on the finish.
